Iredale Bases are all designed to allow the skin to breath and function normally. They are so natural and delicate that mothers use them as sunscreen for their sensitive babies! Unlike most other makeup lines, even high end ones, no talc, FD&C dyes, lakes or chemical preservatives are EVER found as color, filler, or binders in Iredale products. They also contain 60% concentrated pigment instead of the usual 20%, so you can apply a quick thin layer of mineral and have complete coverage all day long. Finally the mineral is inorganic so it doesn't go bad, hold bacteria, and has the ability to adhere to the skin even in moving water. I apply my makeup in the morning, workout, take a shower, rinse my face, pat it dry with a towel, and then work an eight hour day without a touch up!
