If you plan on using Iredale's mineral makeup you MUST buy Iredale brushes! Your other makeup brushes, no matter how expensive, well loved, or how much they look the same will not work with this makeup because they are not the same. These brushes are hand cut and hand tied to work with the ultra-fine quality of the mineral. Clients who don't buy the brushes ALWAYS - yes, ALWAYS, call me and complain that their makeup doesn't look right. It's heavy, the wrong color, and doesn't stay on. I tell them to come over and apply the makeup with my brushes and when they do it solves all their problems. Buy the basic brushes you are going to need and give your old ones away.
